With this project, I experimented with chemically altering polaroids. Initially I wanted to play and explore but it quickly became personal to me. As a person who struggles with the concept of change, this process forced me to confront its inevitability and reflect on how I choose to respond. In altering these images, I found a deeper understanding of myself.
Various chemicals liquids were used in this project. They range from bleach to food items such as soy sauce and syrup. The last image was microwaved. Please do not try that at home!
